FAQs for Under-18 Applicants

1. Can my child apply if they are under 18 years old?

Yes. The Dune Talent accepts applications from aspiring models and talents between 14 and 18 years old.
There are occasional commercial opportunities for minors, and if we feel your child is a good fit, we begin a careful development process following their application.

We always emphasize that modeling remains a hobby, while education and well-being are the top priority.
Formal consent from a legal guardian is required before moving forward.

2. What type of photos should we submit with the application?

We prefer simple, natural snapshots taken in daylight.
Professional photos are not required.

Please ensure your child:

  • is not wearing makeup
  • has natural hair
  • is photographed in clear lighting
  • is wearing simple, fitted clothing that shows their natural proportions

This helps us accurately assess their potential.

3. Will my child be safe during the application and selection process?

Absolutely. Your child’s safety is our highest priority.
All communication, online or in person, is conducted professionally and in line with UAE regulations.

A legal guardian must be present for any in-person meeting, casting, or video call involving a minor.

4. Is there a fee for applying or joining The Dune Talent?

No. There are no application, registration, or signing fees.
We never charge talents—underage or adult—any money to be considered or represented.

5. What happens if my child is selected?

If your child is selected, you and your child will be invited for a follow-up meeting or video call.
During this meeting, we will explain:

  • how representation works at The Dune Talent
  • expectations and responsibilities
  • the development process
  • how bookings and opportunities are managed

You will have the opportunity to ask questions before making any decisions.

6. How does The Dune Talent ensure the well-being of underage models?

We take the well-being of underage talents extremely seriously.
We provide:

  • clear guidance for parents and minors
  • professional, age-appropriate development
  • transparent communication
  • safe, supervised environments for all meetings and castings

A guardian is encouraged—and in most cases required—to be involved at every step.

7. What happens to the photos submitted with the application?

The photos you submit are used solely to evaluate your child’s suitability for representation.
They are stored securely in accordance with UAE data-protection regulations and are not shared publicly without your explicit consent.

If your child is not selected, their photos and data may be deleted from our system upon request.
